Stardust success!

Yesterday the Stardust mission passed 240 km from comet Wild-2, returning the most detailed pictures of a comet to date, and collecting particles from its coma, which will be returned to Earth in 2006.

With two new Mars rovers due to land on the Red Planet in the coming weeks, let's hope this is the start of some good luck for planetary exploration. Ghu knows Mars probes have had some lousy luck over the past couple of years.
