Check out this illusion here. The wheels seem to be moving unless you look at them directly, apparently due to tiny eye movements that are always going on.
Falling under the "Is there no firm ground left in the world?" category, it turns out that Duck Unlimited is actually run by the duck hunters, as openly stated in their FAQ. I especially like the line about the "traditions and heritage of sport hunting".
Was talking to my sister in Nfld. this evening. My nephew's birthday is coming up and he wants this specific set of Yu-gi-oh cards that I've promised to try and track down.
They'd had a record-setting streak of hot and humid weather in St. John's over the past three weeks. As no one's used to this, and no one in Nfld. owns an air conditioner, they've been having a rough time.
And in a ten miles run last weekend, my sister placed fifth in her age group. Yay Susan!
