Airplanes

My office is right under a little-used approach to Pearson Airport. It's in use today, and the planes seem to be flying a little low. I can't seem them directly form where I sit, but I can catch their reflection in a nearby building.

On this topic, here's a video on YouTube showing the ultimate wing test of the Boeing 777, when they bent it till it broke. And it took a lot of breaking.

With the closing of Terminal 2 it's not surprising that some flight operations are a bit different now.

I read that Air Canada is planning to have the 777-333's in service in June. I'm flying to Japan for the Worldcon on Air Canada 1, direct from Toronto to Tokyo, returning on Air Canada 2. Our seats are in row 25, so we're near the front. ;)

I dunno, but it's too bad it's not me!
